Amplify
Genres: Jump-Up, Drum & Bass
Devon producer and DJ Nury Blackburn, known as Amplify, first heard drum and bass at The Attic in Torquay and played his first set at The Foundry in the same town. Production came later: largely self-taught, he released his debut in late 2020, then managed seven singles and nine EPs across 2021, with his first Zombie Recordings release reaching number one on Juno Download's drum and bass chart. His jump-up is made for the dancefloor, and the releases have since landed on Crucast, DnB Allstars, Pick 'n' Mix and NUFORM. He runs Gradient Records, the monthly release label he set up with Metalwork, and his studio partnership with Master Error stretches to hundreds of tracks, including a remix of the Dominator tune History Making. Behind the decks he folds jungle influences into modern jump-up, which has earned him headline slots at DnB Allstars events.
Amplify has 7 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
