Andee J is Andy Jones, a Liverpool drum and bass DJ who has been active since 1993. He started out as an MC at 15 alongside his childhood friend Silly G and moved onto the decks about six months later. Radio slots have included the Liverpool pirate Bubble FM in 2001 and Dance Radio UK from 2013 to 2015. With drum and bass bookings scarce in the city, he has run his own parties and private raves and is known for giving local up and coming DJs stage time. He has also played as a scratch DJ with the bands Kush and Shiver, supported Fabio, Micky Finn and Klute, and plays high tempo sets that move across drum and bass subgenres.
