Chinese Daughter
Genres: Jungle, Drum & Bass
Chinese Daughter is a South London selector who plays strictly from vinyl, building sets out of jungle and dub with drum and bass and the odd house leaning record pulled in. She came to DJing at around 29 and found her way onto Rinse FM through the Swamp 81 circle, alongside slots on Balamii and a Kool FM residency. Record shops and private trades supply the crates, and a May 2025 NTS guest mix for Drum Poetry leaned almost entirely on 1994 and 1995 pressings. She also guested on Nia Archives' NTS show in March 2026 and has taken her records as far as Australia. A digger rather than a producer, her sets are about the records themselves.
Chinese Daughter has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
