Crystal Clear
Genres: Rollers
Crystal Clear is producer Andy Haeffele, who spent eight or nine years in DJ Hype's Playaz camp making high energy dancefloor drum and bass through much of the 2000s. He then stepped away for well over a decade, first with the pop and D&B crossover act Major Look on a Universal label and later in house and techno as one half of Melody's Enemy. His return began with 2024 releases on Love For Low Frequencies, 31 Recordings and Sofa Sound, followed in January 2025 by the Selector EP on V Recordings, a label he had wanted to sign to since hearing early Dillinja and Roni Size as a teenager. The EP's title track samples Bryan Gee, with collaborations alongside Amoss, Minor Forms and vocalist Kathryn Brenna. He has also remixed D*Minds' Selecta, and Bricks Don't Roll remains a reliable moment in his sets.
Crystal Clear has 4 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
