DJ Millz
Genres: Jungle, Jump-Up, Drum & Bass
Millz broke through in the summer of 2021 and moved fast, from London club nights to Glastonbury, The Warehouse Project, NASS, Ministry of Sound and EGG London, with trips to Canada, Germany and the Netherlands along the way. Jungle runs in the family. Her father is Nicky Blackmarket, the pioneer behind the old Blackmarket Records shop in Soho, and that grounding comes through in mixes that splice old skool jungle with newer jump-up and current dancefloor drum and bass. On the radio she holds a monthly residency on Kool FM, presents on Rinse FM and has guest-mixed for BBC Radio 1 and Kiss. She picked up an Up and Comer award and finished third two years running in BBC Radio 1's Best Breakthrough DJ category. She produces too, and appears on Pull It Back with Bully and the Ragga Twins, released on Kartoons in 2024.
DJ Millz has 9 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
