D*Minds
Genres: Drum & Bass, Jump-Up
D*Minds, who started out as Distorted Minds, are Jon Midwinter and Alistair Vickery, a Bristol area pairing who both produce and DJ. Their records came out through True Playaz, Breakbeat Kaos and Formation, plus their own D-Style Recordings, set up in early 2000 with a sister imprint, Stereotype, and a roster that featured TC, Eddie K, MC Jakes and The Force. Their remix of EZ Rollers' Crowd Rocker became a sound bed on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show, and Mr Happy, made with DJ Hazard, reached number 19 on the UK indie chart in 2007. Back home they promote RUN, a monthly night at Motion in Bristol. Their sets lean towards bouncing, heavy jump-up, and classics nights book them for exactly that era.
D*Minds has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
