Heist is Jim Muir, a producer with a catalogue running to well over a hundred singles and EPs across labels including Metalheadz, V Recordings, Low Down Deep and Playaz. He is among the longest serving names in jump-up, though his production has never sat only in that lane, and he runs the Co-Lab Recordings, Sumo and Liquid Lab imprints alongside his own releases. His debut album Iacon arrived around sixteen years into that release history and concentrated on the jump-up and heavyweight corners of his range.
