Janaway
Genres: Jungle
Janaway is a Bristol producer and DJ, half British and half Brazilian, whose jungle borrows heavily from baile funk and the Rio club music he heard on family visits as a child. After the Inna The Dance EP on Sub Code Records in 2023 and an EP for N4 Records in 2024, he self-released a Jungle Funk series that blends breakbeats with classic baile samples and Brazilian vocals. He runs his own label, Brazen Records, with collaborative EPs alongside Worselyy and Cheetah, and remixed DJ Sofa and Tim Reaper for FutureRetro. The International Luv EP arrived on Nia Archives' Up Ya Archives label in late 2025. He has played Glastonbury, Boomtown and Outlook Origins, often b2b with Cheetah.
Janaway has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
