Logan D
Genres: Jump-Up, Drum & Bass
Son of jungle pioneer Micky Finn, London DJ Logan D grew up around the music, first hearing jungle at home in 1993 as a ten year old and buying his first pair of Technics three years later. By 1998 he had a slot on the pirate station Kool London, where he later moved up to share the Super Sunday 7 to 9 show with DJ Sly. In 2006 he founded Low Down Deep Recordings, which became one of the defining jump-up imprints, with releases from Majistrate, Eksman, Turno, Pleasure, Sly, Pacso, Dominator and Guv among many others. The label also runs as a touring night, so a Low Down Deep booking is usually a full label showcase. His own sets draw heavily on that catalogue and the wider jump-up sound, and he has taken them well beyond the UK, to Canada, the USA, Kazakhstan and much of Europe.
Logan D has 7 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
