MC Enamie
Genres: Jungle, Drum & Bass, UK Garage
MC Enamie has been on the mic in UK drum and bass for around 15 years and is a member of GTA, short for Girls Take Action, one of the scene's longest running all-female crews. She joined V Dubz in 2014, when the two and Lady Blazer returned to Rough Tempo radio with all-female broadcasts that showcased more than 15 women from around the country. Her first release came on RAM Records in 2017, and later tracks include a collaboration with V Dubz and Millz on Gorilla Warfare and Bite Me with Odyssy on Electrikal. She also works in UK garage, with releases in that style and a place in The London Garage Orchestra alongside MC Kie, so she is as comfortable hosting a garage set as a jungle one. Her strength is crowd work: she reads a room and pushes the energy rather than talking over the music, which is why she turns up on hosting duty at London jungle and drum and bass nights.
MC Enamie has 4 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
