Jack Higgins grew up in London and Harry Bryson in a small Yorkshire village. They met in 2012, began producing together after both moved to London to study, and put out their first EP, The Music, on their own Soulvent Records in 2015. Both trained classically from a young age, and their liquid drum and bass is built on melody and songwriting as much as on the drums. The debut album This Time Last Year arrived in 2016, and after signing to Shogun Audio in 2017 they released Lost In Thought, the conceptual Beneath The Surface in 2021, and Overgrown in 2025, a 15 track record that pushes toward a more euphoric, club-facing sound by setting acoustic textures against electronic ones. Phoneline, with Emily Makis, is its best known song, and IYAMAH, Kelli-Leigh, Jelani Blackman and Monrroe also feature. They have mixed for FABRICLIVE and played Boomtown, Let It Roll and a sold-out run of Australia and New Zealand.
