Selecta J-Man
Genres: Jungle, Drum & Bass
Reggae runs through everything Selecta J-Man makes. A new school jungle and drum and bass producer and DJ, he belongs to the Born On Road collective alongside Aries, Kelvin 373, Gold Dubs and Stivs, the crew behind much of the modern ragga jungle revival. Most of his music has come out on Born On Road, with the Cease and Sekkle EP his biggest release to date, and he has also released on Run Tingz Recordings and remixed for Boom Sound and Chopstick Dubplate. Studio sessions with reggae vocalists shape his productions, which set roots and dancehall voices over rolling breaks and deep subs. He was part of the Born On Road team that took the Glastonbury Sound Clash title in 2017, and his tracks appear on the Welcome To The Jungle compilation series. Behind the decks he keeps to that sound system tradition, ragga heavy and vocal led.
Selecta J-Man has 9 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
