Strategy (Broke'n'£nglish)
Genres: Drum & Bass
Strategy is a Manchester MC with roots in the city's hip hop underground: he was part of the trio The Microdisiacs with Konny Kon, now of Children of Zeus, then co-founded Broke'n'English with MC DRS and Konny Kon, a crew that supported Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep and Snoop Dogg on tour. His deep Mancunian voice crossed into bass music through Dub Phizix, first on Marcus Intalex's Soul:r label and then on Marka, the Exit Records tune with Skeptical that picked up support from Skrillex, Friction and Benji B. He has since voiced Lunar Eclipse for the French duo Visages and worked with Halogenix, and signed to Tru Thoughts in 2019. On a drum and bass stage he works as a host, bringing a rapper's writing to the mic rather than stock hype.
Strategy (Broke'n'£nglish) has 3 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
