Tantron

Genres: Neurofunk, Jump-Up, Drum & Bass

Dutch producer Tantron, first name Hugo, came to drum and bass in 2019 after earlier experiments in trap, hardstyle and house, and learned the craft at the Rockacademie in Tilburg. Bootlegs did the early heavy lifting: a 2023 flip of Pump It, then a 2024 take on Baddadan that spread fast online. His catalogue has since moved across STMPD Records, where he teamed up with Arcando, AC13's Alpha Circuit, Bassrush and Monstercat, which issued ICARUS with Wiguez and Moneo. Crucast has been a steady home since his 2024 debut EP there, and OVERLOAD with London vocalist Grace Barton, sketched in late 2022 and road tested for years, entered the Beatport Top 100 in 2025. Remixes for ShockOne and Futurebound sit alongside the originals. On stage he is a hyperactive presence in a trademark bucket hat, with a mainstage debut at Rampage Open Air in 2023, a New Zealand headline tour and 40 shows in 17 countries during 2025. The music is big, cinematic drum and bass built on dense sound design, with neuro and jump up edges.

Tantron has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
