Universal Project is a drum and bass group formed in 2000 as a four-piece, with members listed as Aaron McDuffus, G. Taylor-Karrer, Lawrence Hughes and Nitrox. Their sound combines b-boy breaks, techno elements and dubwise bass into dark, tech-leaning rollers, and tunes such as The Craft and Haunted Dreams picked up dancefloor play and interest from Renegade Hardware and Virus. They have headlined Archive Theory at The Last Arch, a daytime session built on dark rollers and dubplates.
