Voltage
Genres: Jungle, Rollers, Drum & Bass
Rouen Wilkins, known as Voltage, made his name with Moodswings, a 2017 EP on Metalheadz, and rolling, dancefloor drum and bass has been his lane ever since. Singles such as Little Chef, Black Mamba and Voltage Is Your Real Dad followed, then Balance Over Symmetry, a 2020 album for Hospital Records that was later reworked as a remix edition. His tracks have also landed on Souped Up, Ram, V Recordings, 31 Recordings, Low Down Deep and Digital Soundboy, and he appeared on Shy FX's Amazing in 2022. With Serum and Bladerunner he makes up Kings of the Rollers, a trio that grew out of a b2b2b set on Rough Tempo and went on to sign to Hospital. Behind the decks he moves between jungle edits, jump-up and deeper rollers, and his own Come Rave With Me parties are built around a serious soundsystem.
Voltage has 10 upcoming drum & bass event(s) listed on DNBRAVE.
