Zero T is Cian McCann, a producer and DJ who came out of Dublin's drum and bass scene, making his DJ debut at Bassbin in 1998 and moving to London in 2006. He has been releasing since around 2000, sometimes as Zero Tolerance, across C.I.A., Signature, Subtitles, Hospital, Commercial Suicide, Reinforced, Innerground, Metalheadz, V Recordings and The North Quarter. Waterfall with Calibre on Signature (2007) is still one of his best known records, alongside Refusal with Steo and a remix of Dillinja's Sky for V, and his C.I.A. albums include Cheap Shots (2008). The Journey Begins EP on V in 2024 brought in L-Side, MC GQ and Onj. The sound is soulful, deep and rolling, drawing on 90s conscious hip hop, trip hop, soul, jazz and early hardcore.
