The Depo on Union Street has a split level layout where the balcony gallery looks straight down onto the stage, which suits a night pitched as an intimate affair rather than a full room rave. That is what Caged is, and this September edition hands the drum and bass over to FMS. Plymouth's independent venue took the BBC Radio 1 Dance grassroots award in 2026, and reviewers reckon its sound holds up best from the centre of the floor rather than tight against the side wall.
