Detonate First Rave Back: K MOTIONZ
Tuesday, 22 September 2026 · Unit 13, Nottingham
Starts 22:00 · Ends 03:00 · Doors 22:00 · Last entry 23:45 · 18+ · Tickets £10
Dancefloor drum and bass with jump-up weight is what the Birmingham producer K Motionz built his name on, from the viral run of Hack It with MC Duskee and Reaction with IC3 through to the more melodic High Note. He is the first name announced for Detonate's First Rave Back, the return date the Nottingham promoter sets at the start of the university year, and Detonate have been putting on nights in the city since the late 1990s. Unit 13 gives them LG1, a multi-tiered main room holding around 800 with a Funktion-One rig and a stage set in the middle of the floor. It runs on a Tuesday with £10 entry, over 18s only, and last entry at 11.45pm, while reviewers repeatedly describe a strict door, so physical ID and an early arrival save trouble.
