Few drum and bass nights take place in a building that predates Shakespeare by more than a century. The Angel Inn on Andover High Street was put up in the 1440s for Winchester College and only survived the 1960s redevelopment after a town petition, and this Halloween it hosts Enter The Graveyard, a night of drum and bass and jungle. blakey headlines with djginge alongside, two local names who keep a low profile online. It is a proper pub rather than a club, with a pool table, jukebox and beer garden, which suits the early start: doors at 6pm, last entry 11:30pm, 18+ only, and tickets from £2.
