Under the tracks of Glasgow Central, 14 Midland Street houses Audio, an independent venue that opened around 2013 in the arches formerly occupied by Rockers. By club standards it is tiny, with no pit and a low roof, which suits jungle surprisingly well: Jungle Testaments brings Benny Page and DJ Hybrid, two producers closely tied to ragga jungle and rolling breakbeat, with Cenote Sounds in support. Away from bass nights the calendar is mostly metal, punk and up-and-coming indie acts. The bar is limited to a handful of canned beers and ciders rather than taps, so do not expect much choice. Friendly security and good sound come up again and again in what gig-goers say about it.
