The Bass Invaders Sound System has made this compact New Canal club one of its regular homes, bringing DJs such as DUBBLET, DEEJAYGEE and Dj Emma to a room that holds roughly 100 people by Skiddle's count. Balkan doubles as a sports bar, but after dark it turns over to lights, loud bass and MCs, and the local drum and bass and hardcore collectives that book it include Bile Studio, Splitting Frequencies and Machine Gun Events.
