BALLIN' opened on Bank Street in 2021 as a sports and party bar, launched with what was billed as Kent's largest screen, more than 20 more for live sport, and tables for ping pong, American pool and beer pong. During the day it is best known for themed bottomless brunches and drag bingo, and the space can be hired for parties of up to around 250 standing. Late licences let the main room switch into club mode, and drum and bass has carved out a place in that schedule. Mozey, the D&B DJ as famous for his online antics as his skank-heavy sets, headlines a Halloween rave here, and Raver Tots bring their afternoon family rave for parents who grew up on the music. Club nights draw a different, later crowd from the brunch sittings, and Bank Street is one of the busiest evening streets in Maidstone town centre.
