Dahlia Stereo
Unit 1 + 2, The Hive, 47 Lever Street, Manchester, M1 1FN
Dahlia Stereo is the late night half of Dahlia, a Latin BBQ restaurant and bar spread over two floors of The Hive on Lever Street in the Northern Quarter. Once dinner service winds down the tables give way to DJs, and the club side is deliberately capped below 250 people. The rig was hand built by Hatchett Sound of West Cork, with acoustic design by Jonny Oppo of Neuron Audio, and the bookings are curated by Jonjo Williams of Maribou State and Rich Reason of Hit and Run. Most weeks lean towards house, broken beat, soul and jazz, but the Stereo Sessions bring in the occasional bass name, with Bristol jungle and drum and bass veteran DJ Die among them. Piccadilly Gardens is a couple of minutes away on foot, and with so few tickets per night the bigger names sell out ahead of time.
Dahlia Stereo has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
