Times Square, Scotswood Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 4EP
Big Fat Rave and Andy Whitby's Bounce Generation both treat this Times Square club as their large-format Newcastle option. Big Fat Rave splits its bills across the building, with jungle and hardcore in the main room and trance, garage and drum and bass in the Pixel Room, while Bounce Generation brings its 360 degree bounce and donk show with a long roll call of MCs. The sprawling former warehouse space sits next to the Centre for Life and has been a fixture of the city's clubbing since 2005, when it opened with a Funktion-One Dancestack. Central Station and the Metro are close by, and the Times Square car park next door has around 800 spaces. Entry is 18+ under Challenge 25 rules, and the state of the toilets has drawn criticism from several recent visitors.
Digital has 1 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
