FORGE

148 Effingham Road, Sheffield, S4 7YS

FORGE, sometimes styled FØRGE, is a converted Victorian steel forge on Effingham Road, east of Sheffield city centre, that produced duplex steel forms until 2018 and opened as a club in September 2022 under director Richard Welch. The main warehouse takes up to 1,000, with a Pioneer XY series system and LED rigs running along the old steel columns and crane tracks, plus a large courtyard overlooking the Tinsley Canal. It picked up Best Club at the Sheffield Exposed Awards 2024. Jungle and drum and bass sit beside house and techno on the calendar: Big Fat Rave run bass nights here with acts such as Hamdi and Osmosis Jones, Rupture and Unity Underground have booked Fabio and SHERELLE, and Adam F's live band show is on the list too. There is no parking on site, so use the Nunnery Square car park or walk from the station in about 15 minutes, and book a locker ahead online.

FORGE has 3 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
