Ivy House stacks three different spaces into one building on Jordan Well: a cocktail bar and kitchen at street level, a terrace that hosts summer rooftop parties, and a soundproofed basement club holding up to 120 with a built-in DJ booth and its own bar. The basement is the part that matters for bass music, and it is licensed until 3:30am. Local crews use it for jungle and drum and bass, Drum Fusion among them, teaming up with PG Trips for nights that mix jungle, D&B and acid house, while LC Bass Events have staged MC tour dates here, Mr Traumatik's included. The intimate size keeps the sound close and loud. Note that the basement has no lift or step-free access, so check with the venue first if that matters.
