Lost Horizion Bristol
1-3 Elton St, St Jude's, Bristol, Bristol, BS2 9EH
Lost Horizon is the year-round Bristol base of the crew behind Shangri-La, the after-dark area at Glastonbury Festival. It opened on Elton Street in St Jude's in July 2021 as a bar and arts centre, splitting its first crowds between the room and a beer garden, with capacity rising to 350 once pandemic restrictions eased, before becoming a permanent venue. The weekly programme is deliberately mixed: jazz, classical recitals and art takeovers share the calendar with sound system nights. Selecta J-Man brings his reggae and dancehall selections here with Firmly Rooted Soundsystem, and Faction fill the room with jungle and drum and bass from Visages, Strategy and Klinical. Reviewers who come for club nights repeatedly single out how clean and well balanced the system sounds. The venue sits beside the Wogan coffee roastery, a short walk from Old Market.
Lost Horizion Bristol has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
