Oslo Hackney London

1A Amhurst Road, London, E8 1JB

Oslo lives in the listed Victorian building of the old Hackney Central railway station, reopened by promoters DHP Family in 2014 as a bar, kitchen and music venue over two floors. Downstairs is the bar and dining room, with DJs playing into the night; upstairs is the gig and club room, which holds roughly 400 for live shows and more for club nights, and past performers include Dua Lipa and Sam Smith. Bass bookings arrive with touring promoters. Therapy Sessions, the darkside drum and bass and crossbreed night that Robyn Chaos and Dylan started in the East End in 2002, brings its London edition here, and Australian producer What So Not plays his trap revival project, I Saw A Trap DJ. The present day Hackney Central Overground platforms are right beside the building. Visitors say the upstairs room gets packed on sold out nights, though it can be entered from the back, so getting in early is the way to a spot near the stage.

Oslo Hackney London has 2 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
