Tucked away on Trinity Walk in the city centre, Secret Garden began in 2017 as a 50 seat rooftop terrace. A roof and heaters later turned it into an all weather room, and Skiddle puts its capacity at about 300, which keeps raves here tight and close to the decks. House and garage make up most of the club calendar, but drum and bass promoters use it too, including the Locked In tour, billed as UK versus Germany, with Alcemist, Blooom and Coco playing across inside and outside areas. During the day the place runs as a cocktail and pitcher bar rather than a club. Event nights are over 18s only and wind down around 3am, so plan a taxi or late bus home from the nearby city centre stops.
