The Full Moon And Attic Bar
1 North Street, Bristol, BS1 3PR
Opposite Bristol Bus and Coach Station at the foot of Stokes Croft, the Full Moon is several businesses under one roof: a pub with two bars, a burger kitchen, one of the city's biggest pub courtyards and a backpacker hostel upstairs. Google lists the building as the pub and hostel, but the drum and bass happens in the Attic Bar, a club room of around 240 with a 2am licence. The Attic has long carried Bristol jungle, drum and bass and dub alongside bands and folk gigs, and The Guardian once placed it among the ten best clubs in the UK. Local crews run its bass calendar, among them Siren Sounds, SUCK OUT! and They Say Jump, and resident tag-team nights are a regular feature. The whole site is card only. The Attic is upstairs with no lift, so wheelchair access is limited, and the courtyard doubles as the smoking area. Hostel guests consistently report the noise carrying until closing at weekends; anyone heading home late has the coach station across the road.
The Full Moon And Attic Bar has 7 upcoming drum & bass event(s) on DNBRAVE.
