A converted MOT testing garage in the Orion Business Centre off Surrey Canal Road, Venue MOT opened in early 2018 under owner Jan Mohammed and was named London's best club by Time Out in 2025. There is no sign outside; a thin curtain divides the small bar from a narrow, bunker-like dancefloor flanked by Martin Audio stacks, and the music licence runs to 7am. In 2026 the yard beside the unit was licensed for open air parties as well. The programme favours experimental, locally run nights over big names, yet bass is a constant: the Ruffrat collective throw jungle and dubstep sessions, and grime and dubstep stalwarts Oneman and Plastician have an all night back to back booked. South Bermondsey station is the closest, while Surrey Quays is about 20 minutes on foot with a weekend night service. Reviewers agree the room gets very hot, so dress light and use the patio at the back to cool down.
