Concorde 2 sits on Madeira Drive with the sea directly outside, and its main room is one of the better sounding spaces on the south coast: roughly 600 capacity, a raised stage, and a back bar with its own PA and a projector screen for when the front fills up. Into it comes the Drum n Bass Band, who play the genre's best known tunes on real instruments, running Chase and Status into Shy FX with mashups arranged for a stage rather than a mixer. Its members have backed Ella Henderson and Pixie Lott and played everywhere from Glastonbury to the Radio 1 Live Lounge. Doors 19:30 on a Thursday, tickets from £13, 18 and over.
