South London Soul Train marks its 15th year with a final Halloween edition, and the bass comes from Dr Meaker, the Bristol live band who have spent two decades fusing soul vocals and real instruments with drum and bass. Their set is due around midnight, with releases on V Recordings and the 2024 album Distorted Sun to draw on. Around them, host Jazzheadchronic and friends keep the two rooms on funk, rare groove, soul jazz, breaks and jungle, so this is a soul night first. It runs 10pm to 4am at the Multi Story space on the top floor of Peckham Levels in London, with last entry at 2:30am and early tickets at £5.
