Free The Rave w/ Mandidextrous

Free The Rave is the monthly series Quarters Brighton runs with no ticket price, built on the free party ethos of the late 1980s and booked almost entirely around jungle and drum and bass. This edition hands the room to Mandidextrous, the Bristol producer who ran the Amen4Tekno label for around a decade before an EQ50 mentorship at RAM Records pushed them towards speed bass, four to the floor kicks under drum and bass at 170 to 180 BPM, with releases landing on ProgRAM and Born On Road. The club sits in the seafront arches that opened as The Zap in 1982, rebuilt in 2025 around a 360 degree DJ booth and an L-Acoustics surround system that reviewers single out ahead of anything else. Free tickets go out in limited batches on a first come basis, doors are at 11pm and entry is 18 plus.
