Dazed Muzic has landed Andy C for Halloween at the Great Hall, the big live room inside Cardiff University Students' Union. The RAM Records co-founder took Drum&BassArena's Best DJ title every year from 2009 to 2018, and as half of Origin Unknown he made Valley of the Shadows back in 1993, so expect rapid three-deck blends and double drops. Sota, the 2023 Best Newcomer at those same awards and a leading name in the jump-up revival, joins him, as does Bristol-based [IVY], a Hospital-mentored producer who folds 4x4 and techno into D&B. More names are yet to be announced. It runs 10pm to 4am with last entry at midnight, tickets start at £10, and fancy dress is encouraged, though reviewers warn the hall gets very hot.
