Three hour sets are the whole premise of The Breakthrough, Crossy's first UK tour, and Birmingham is one of five stops on it. The Bristol DJ has released through Born On Road and Hospital, cites Andy C, Randall and Bladerunner as his reference points, and was nominated for Best DJ at the Drum&BassArena Awards in both 2022 and 2023, so the extended set gives him room to move through jungle, rollers and dancefloor instead of cramming it into sixty minutes. LAB11 is a Digbeth warehouse with a rooftop floor and an outdoor area, stripped back rather than polished, and the search on the door is a thorough one.
