Formation Jungle Slammer 2026
Saturday, 28 November 2026 · 2Funky Complex, Leicester
The Formation in the title points to the Leicester label DJ SS co-founded at the start of the 1990s, the outlet behind The Lighter and an early home for John B and Tango, so a Jungle Slammer on home turf carries some history. No lineup has been published for this edition, and the listing pitches it squarely at people who have been before. Most of the night happens in the Music Café at 2Funky Complex, the main room of roughly 350 with the venue's sound system and dancefloor, and a large part-covered outdoor area doubles as the smoking space. Tickets start at £8, doors open at 9pm and it is over-18s only. Reviewers praise the clean toilets but door staff attitude is the recurring gripe, so leave a little time at the entrance.
