Insomnia London: House, Techno, Jungle

Insomnia London's Thursday residency at Phonox keeps the floor deliberately mixed, moving between house, techno, breaks and jungle over one long night in Brixton. The only name announced so far is Paleman, the Manchester producer Calum Lee, whose Beezledub came out on Loefah's Swamp81 in 2014 and whose PLMN label leans towards stripped back, percussive club music. Jungle is one strand of the night rather than the whole of it. Doors open at 10:30pm, last entry is 2am and the music runs until 4am, with tickets from £5. The club is one dark room a few minutes' walk from Brixton tube, and its sound system is the thing regulars rate it for.
