Bryan Gee takes a 90 minute set here, the V Recordings boss who started the label with Jumpin Jack Frost in 1993 and put out the early Roni Size, Krust and DJ Die records. Strictly Jungle Classics fills the rest of the bill with northern jungle heads, among them Mark XTC, Flex Recordings founder L Double, North Base under their older Silver and Prophecy name, plus Jumanji, Eazy D and Rubez, with MC Frost and Digga hosting. Rebellion sits opposite Deansgate Locks in Manchester and runs over two levels, so the balcony gives a raised view of the stage and there is a beer garden for a breather.
