Three restored Victorian arches beneath Cannon Street station make up The Steel Yard, and on Friday 13 November Bass Face fills them with its Level Up concept: a 360 degree D&B floor with a multi-level crowd and bespoke lighting and sound production. Beyond a promise of very special guests nobody has been named, while a second room covers house, techno and UKG. The ticket is listed free with a drink included, but the free allocation goes to early arrivals, so the 11pm doors matter more than the 5am last entry. Reviewers agree this City of London venue runs hot and loud with clear sound, and big nights bring queues at both the door and the bar, so dress light.
