Rinse FM x Sum Cellar: Halloween w/ D Double E & Plastician
Friday, 30 October 2026 · The Drop Inn, Birmingham
Before grime had a name, D Double E was DJ Dan in Bass Inject and, with Terror Danjah, co-founded Reckless Crew, a jungle and drum and bass collective that held a residency on Rinse FM in the late 1990s. That history gives this Rinse FM x Sum Cellar Halloween party, which doubles as Sum's birthday, a neat logic, putting him alongside Plastician, the Croydon DJ credited with bridging grime and dubstep and a Rinse regular since 2004. Birmingham born Jossy Mitsu, another Rinse resident, completes the bill with sets that move from techno and garage through breaks to jungle, so the night sits closer to 140 than 170. The Drop Inn is on Upper Trinity Street in Digbeth; doors 9pm, last entry 12:30am, 18+, tickets from £15.
Lineup: D Double E, Plastician, Jossy Mitsu
