Selecta J-Man & Firmly Rooted Soundsystem: Bristol
Saturday, 7 November 2026 · Lost Horizion Bristol, Bristol
Promoters are billing this as Selecta J-Man's first hometown headline, and he brings Firmly Rooted Soundsystem along with him. A member of the Born On Road collective alongside Aries, Kelvin 373 and Gold Dubs, he makes new school jungle shaped by studio sessions with reggae vocalists, and the Cease and Sekkle EP on Born On Road remains his best known record. Think roots and dancehall voices riding rolling breaks and deep subs. Lost Horizon in St Jude's, opened in 2021 by the team behind Glastonbury's Shangri-La, has a sound system regulars rate highly and a beer garden for breathers. Doors open at 11pm on Saturday 7 November, entry is 18+, and tickets start from just £5.
Lineup: Selecta J-Man
