Degs & Friends
Saturday, 12 September 2026 · The Volks, Brighton
Starts 23:00 · Ends 07:00 · Doors 23:00 · 18+ · Tickets from £8
Degs was made resident MC at Frequency Drum and Bass Sessions in this Brighton room back in 2011, years before Hospital Records signed him as an artist, which is why Degs & Friends treats The Volks as its spiritual home. He brings DJ Hazard, the Souped Up Records boss whose Mr Happy remains the reference point for jump-up, along with JFB, a Brighton turntablist who has taken the UK DMC title three times and scratches across genres rather than staying inside one. The Volks has held its spot on Madeira Drive for over thirty years, running a main floor and a small basement bar with a sound system its regulars rate far above the club's size. Tickets from £8, doors 23:00, 18+.
Genres: Drum & Bass
Venue: The Volks
