30 Years of Playaz: DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, Heist, Taxman + more
Friday, 4 September 2026 · Phonox, London
Starts 22:00 · Ends 04:00 · Doors 22:00 · Last entry 03:00 · 18+ · Tickets from £12.50
Playaz reaches its thirtieth year in 2026, and DJ Hype takes the label's anniversary run to Phonox in Brixton on Friday 4 September. He is joined by DJ Hazard, Taxman, Heist, Funsta, Daddy Earl and Tyke, a bill drawn almost entirely from the jump-up lineage the label has built since DJ Hype and Pascal founded it in 1996. Phonox is a single room of around 450 on the old Plan B site, so this is the Playaz sound at close quarters rather than across a festival stage, and regulars rate the sound system as the best thing about the place while noting that busy nights fill the floor early. Doors open at 22:00, last entry is 03:00, and the night is 18 plus.
Lineup: DJ Hype, DJ Hazard, Taxman, Heist, Funsta, Daddy Earl, Tyke
